Nutrition Science and Policy Communications Manager

The key purpose of this role is to provide WSRO and its members with resources and tools to confidently and effectively communicate on sugar’s role in health and nutrition, to a diverse range of stakeholders, across multiple platforms.

Supported by WSRO’s CEO, you’ll evolve our communications strategy, leading the development of our online presence to grow our reach and impact. You’ll work closely with our Scientific Affairs Manager to create content and assets that promote WSRO’s mission, communicating easy-to-understand, evidence-based messages on the role of sugars in health and nutrition. You’ll have a strong track record of turning technical and complex information into compelling content.

Implementing your knowledge of nutrition science, you’ll also be responsible for capturing and communicating information on the global sugars and health policy landscape, analysing the evidence-base underpinning it.

Pay: £55,500-59,500
Hours: Full time (18 Month Fixed-Term Contract)
