The successful candidate will be able to translate theoretical knowledge into practice by supporting long-term innovation in sourdough baking via microbiological profiling and human intervention studies. The project is technology related, and requires a diverse skill set to embed a scientific R&D capability within Geary’s Bakeries. The successful candidate will need to become proficient in a wide range of skills. Specifically, proficiency in complex techniques such as DNA sequencing will be essential, but they must also become proficient in collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data.
Pay: £36,000-40,000
