At GSTT there are multiple weight management services (Tier 2 and Tier 3) that are run across the local south east London boroughs Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, Bromley and Bexley. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time fixed-term post until Oct 2026 for an ambitious person to join our Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust Up!Up! Tier 2 weight management service tailored specifically to black African and black Caribbean communities in Lewisham.

For the role, you must have experience delivering behaviour change interventions to people from diverse backgrounds including those from Black communities, and be confident using virtual platforms. This includes delivering nutrition education, behaviour change principles and delivering exercise sessions (training will be provided). You must have a developed understanding of weight bias and stigma in both healthcare and everyday life.
